Mohamed Salah Offers Regret to Liverpool Dressing Room, Reveals Curtis Jones
The Liverpool midfielder has shared that Mohamed Salah apologised to the team after the fallout from his recent interview.

Salah was left out from a vital match subsequent to making accusations and suggesting his connection to the head coach had broken down.
“Mo is his own man and he can say his own stuff,” Jones revealed. “His apology was clear and was like: ‘If my words hurt anyone, I apologise.’”
The manager has chosen not to disclose on whether he received a personal apology from the player.

The player stated that the dressing room atmosphere remained positive. “He was the exact same Mo, his demeanour was positive and we all treated him normally,” the midfielder explained.
The midfielder also suggested that a competitor wanting to play is less of an issue. “I get that there are different methods you can express yourself,” he said. “However, if a player is content to just not start, then I think that’s more of an issue.”
On-Field Response
The team's performance have stayed unbeaten in the matches since the initial controversy. Jones believes the forward's comments were never meant to harm the team.
“In moments of frustration, it has consistently come from a desire to win,” he finished. “That chapter is closed and we’re building chemistry, performing and securing victories.”
