The House Oversight Committee has published a set of approximately 70 images from the estate of former adjudicated sexual predator Jeffrey Epstein.

This represents the latest in a series of release from a cache of over 95,000 photographs the panel has acquired from Epstein's property. It includes images of excerpts from the novel Lolita scrawled across a woman's body, and obscured pictures of women's international passports.

This disclosure comes just hours before the 19 December due date for the Department of Justice to make public every documents connected to its investigation into Epstein.

"These photos raise further questions about exactly what the Department of Justice has in its holdings," remarked the Democratic lead of the panel, Robert Garcia.

Contents in the Images Made Public

A number of the photographs published on recently feature Epstein in discussion with academic and activist Noam Chomsky inside a private jet; Bill Gates seen beside a individual whose features is redacted; Steve Bannon positioned at a desk facing Epstein, and former Alphabet president Sergey Brin at a evening meal.

These are the most recent wealthy, powerful men to be photographed in Epstein's estate images published by the oversight panel - previously published pictures also depict US President Donald Trump and past president Bill Clinton, as well as movie director Woody Allen, previous US treasury secretary Larry Summers, lawyer Alan Dershowitz, Andrew Mountbatton-Windsor, and others.

Appearing in the photos is is not considered indication of any misconduct, and many of the pictured figures have asserted they were not involved in Epstein's illegal activity.

In a press release released with the image disclosure, Democrats on the US House Oversight Committee said the Epstein property holders did not provide explanatory details or timeframes for the images.

"Photos were chosen to provide the public with openness into a illustrative selection of the photographs acquired from the property, and to provide perspectives into Epstein's associates and his extremely troubling actions," the release says.

The release also features several photographs of passages from the Vladimir Nabokov literary work Lolita inscribed in dark ink across different parts of a female's body, like her chest, feet, hipbone, and back. Lolita tells the tale of a minor who was manipulated by a middle-aged literature professor.

A particular quote from the novel written across a woman's upper body states, "Lolita: the end of the tongue taking a trip of three steps down the palate to tap, at three, on the teeth".

Additionally, there are a series of photos of women's identification and identification documents from countries globally, including Lithuania, Russia, the Czech Republic, and Ukraine.

An additional image released is a capture of SMS messages from an unknown individual who claims they have been provided "a number of girls" and are requesting "$one thousand dollars per female".

Photo Disclosure Arrives Prior to DOJ Cut-off

The committee has a vast number of images in its holdings from the Epstein holdings, which are "both disturbing and mundane," its press release on recently noted.

The oversight panel first subpoenaed the estate of Epstein, who died in a New York correctional facility in 2019 while facing trial on charges of human trafficking, in August.

The images and records the Epstein property submitted to the body are distinct from what is commonly termed "Epstein-related records". That material are papers in the DOJ's control related to its separate probe into Epstein.

Pursuant to the Epstein Files Transparency Act, which the President signed into law in November, the DOJ has a deadline of 19 December to release its files. The extent of the contents contained in the DOJ's files is unknown, and it's probable that a significant portion of the material will be extensively redacted, similar to House Oversight Committee materials
